In April 2004 a fully automated bottling line was commissioned at the Cloudy Bay Business Park on the outskirts of Blenheim.

The main bottling line is capable of operating at 8,000 bottles per hour, with two additional lines in commission.  All of the equipment is the latest available and offers a range of features to allow Wine Bottlers Marlborough to deliver excellence in bottling, labeling and packaging. The bottling machine is fully enclosed in a sterile environment and is linked via modem to the Italian supplier allowing remote troubleshooting and adjustment. All the machines come with backup memory chips and incorporate the latest safety features.

Wine Bottlers Marlborough can bottle into 100 different types of bottle from 375ml to 1.5litres. Change-over times are down to 40 minutes and the objective is to achieve to a 98 percent efficiency rate.
This year we have increased our warehouse space to 9000sq metres.
